a northern Nigerian court has sentenced six people to death after they were found guilty of armed robbery, the official News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported. Prosecutors told the court that the accused had on March 31, 2000, conspired and robbed the grain market in Gombe city and that they were also found in illegal possession of arms and ammunition, NAN said.
