the Sindh High Court acquitted the murder charges against a member of the banned group Lashker-e-Jhangvi Pakistan. Abdul Wahab was sentenced to death and fined Rs 1,00,000 by the Karachi Anti Terrorism Court on March 30, 2005. According to the prosecution, he and the co-accused murdered Ghulam Ahmed Sarab and Muhammad Baqir on February 27, 2003. After hearing the arguments of the state and appellant counsels, the High Court allowed the appeal against conviction for a reason to be recorded later and acquitted him.(Sources: Pakistan Press International, 09/02/2007)
