MALAYSIA: SINGAPOREAN TO HANG FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

22 February 2010 :

Judge Datuk Mohd Zawawi Salleh of the High Court in Johor Baharu, Malaysia, sentenced Singaporean Heng Chye Lai, 44, to death by hanging for trafficking 233.2g of methamphetamine at Bandar Baru Permas Jaya on January 25, 2007. He was found guilty of other drug crimes and sentenced nineteen years' jail and 10 strokes for these charges.
