Iranian state media reported about execution of a prisoner in the prison of Ardebil (northwestern Iran). Quoting the public relation office of the Judiciary in Ardebil, Tasnim news agency reported that the prisoner was convicted of selling 17 kilograms of heroin. The execution took place in the central prison of Ardebil Tuesday January 14. The prisoner was not identified by name.
