According to information received by Hengaw, at dawn on October 22, 2025, a 35-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been verified, was executed in Ghezel-Hesar Prison, Karaj. According to the state-run news outlet Etemad Online, he had been sentenced to death four years ago for the alleged murder of a man named Jamshid in the forests of Lavizan, Tehran.
