August 21, 2025 - IRAN. Unidentified man executed in public on August 21

According to information received by Hengaw, the execution of a male prisoner was carried out at dawn on August 21, 2025, in public in Kordkuy.

State media reported that the prisoner had been arrested last year in Kordkuy on charges of murdering a couple and a young woman with a firearm.

The prisoner, whose identity has not been disclosed, was ultimately sentenced to public execution by Branch 2 of the Criminal Court One of Golestan Province.
