April 30, 2025 - IRAN. Three more people executed in Ghezel Hesar on April 30
Four executions had already been reported.
According to information received by IHR on May 5, seven people were executed in Ghezel-Hesar prison in Karaj on April 30, not four. Previously, the executions of Asghar Vatanparast, Emad Ahmadi, Hamid Fazeli, and Mohsen Langarneshin had been reported. Now it is believed that three other men have also been hanged, but their names and crimes are unknown. Only one of them is known to have been Afghan.
Of the seven executions, only that of Langarneshin, accused of spying for Israel, was mentioned by the Iranian media. At the time of publication, no mention had been made of the others.
