October 6, 2025 - IRAN. Taleb Hejrati-Pour executed in Sanandaj on October 6
Taleb Hejrati-Pour, a 40-year-old Kurdish man from Marivan, was executed in Sanandaj (Sine) Central Prison after spending nearly ten years on death row. He had been convicted of murder.
According to information obtained by Hengaw, the execution was carried out at dawn on October 6, 2025.
Hejrati-Pour had previously been transferred to solitary confinement for the implementation of his sentence but was later returned to the prison’s general ward.
The execution has not been announced by state-run media.
