August 9, 2025 - IRAN. Sajad Habibi executed in Kermanshah on August 9

The death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner, identified as Sajad Habibi from Ilam, has been carried out at Kermanshah Central Prison (Dizelabad). Hengaw had earlier reported the execution of two other inmates at the same facility.

According to information received by Hengaw, the execution of 38-year-old Habibi, arrested six years ago on drug-related charges, was implemented on August 9, 2025.

Hengaw had previously reported the execution of Bahador Elyasi, 31, and Soleiman Naseri Khez in the same prison.

The executions have not been announced by state media.
