November 16, 2025 - IRAN. Sajad Habibi and Mohammadreza Basharat executed in Qazvin on November 16
Based on information obtained by Hengaw, Sajad Habibi, from Fardis in Karaj, and Mohammadreza Basharat, a 27-year-old from Tehran, were executed at dawn on November 16, 2025, in Qazvin Central Prison (Choubindar). Habibi had been detained for nearly four years on a charge of murder following a street altercation, while Basharat had been held for six years on a similar charge.
State media have not reported these executions.
