September 3, 2025 - IRAN. Rahman Ali Akbari executed in Kermanshah on September 3
A man was hanged in Kermanshah Central Prison on 3 September. He has been identified as Rahman Ali Akbari, a 35-year-old Kurdish man from the village of Angaz in Kermanshah. He was arrested five years ago on drug-related charges.
At the time of writing, the execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
