June 8, 2025 - IRAN. Rahim Karimi (also known as Zadeh-Karimi) executed in Ghaen on June 8

32-year-old Rahim Karimi (also known as Zadeh-Karimi), a resident of Zabol and father of one, was executed on Sunday, June 8, 2025, in Qaen Central Prison (also Ghaen, Ghayen, Qa’en, Qayen Prison). Karimi had been arrested nearly 12 years ago in Gonbad-e Kavus, on drug-related charges. His execution was carried out without being afforded a final visit with his family.

The execution has not been officially acknowledged by Iranian state media.
