October 14, 2025 - IRAN. Qasem Rahmatzehi and Meysam Gholami executed in Birjand on October 14

According to information received by Hengaw, at dawn on October 14, 2025, Qasem Rahmatzehi, a 49-year-old Baloch prisoner from Zahedan and father of seven, along with Meysam Gholami, approximately 30, from Quchan in Razavi Khorasan Province, were executed in Birjand Central Prison in South Khorasan Province. Both were executed in secret and denied a final visit with their families. According to the Haalvsh News Agency, Rahmatzehi and Gholami had been imprisoned for two and three years respectively on drug-related charges.

The executions have not been reported by Iranian state media.
