two men convicted of raping and murdering nine women were hanged in public in the central Iranian city of Arak, the Fars news agency reported.State television showed Abutaleb Mohammadi-Nasab and Yazdan Karimi hanging from cranes in front of hundreds of onlookers after the pair were found guilty of raping, robbing and murdering the women in 2001 and 2002.
