August 20, 2025 - IRAN. Naghi Shahi and Yashar Lejehi executed in Tabriz on August 20
2 men were executed in Tabriz Prison. HRANA has identified the individuals hanged at dawn on August 20, 2025, as Naghi Shahi and Yashar Lejehi. Based on information received by HRANA, Shahi and Lejehi had been sentenced on murder charges. Shahi's execution had already been reported by IHR and picked up by HoC.
As of the time of this report, the executions of these two prisoners have not been announced by authorities.
