Information received by Hengaw indicates that the executions of Mostafa Keifari, a Kurdish prisoner from Kangavar in Kermanshah province, and Sohrab Majidi, a 30-year-old Gilak prisoner from Sari, were carried out in Lakan Prison in Rasht during the early hours of December 24, 2025. Both men had been arrested approximately four years ago on charges of murder. The execution of Majidi was carried out secretly, and he was denied a final visit with his family.

State media had not reported the executions.

HoC has already reported 18 executions that took place on 24 December. Adding these, the total number of executions carried out in Iran on 24 December is 20.
