April 30, 2025 - IRAN. Moslem Darvishipour and Mohammad Salamat executed in Ahvaz on April 30.

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, two men were hanged in Ahvaz Sepidar Prison on 30 April 2025. Their identities have been established as Moslem Darvishipour (left photo), a 25-year-old Lor man from Masjed Soleiman, and Mohammad Salamat (right photo), a 29 year old Arab man from Ahvaz.

Moslem was arrested for murder four years ago, and Mohammad Salmaat was arrested more than seven years ago on drug-related charges.

IHR previously reported the execution of Mohammad Nabi Zirkari, bringing the total number of executions at the prison to three that day.

At the time of writing, none of their executions have been reported by domestic media inside Iran.
