August 20, 2025 - IRAN. Morteza Sayvand and Reza Abbasi executed in Isfahan on August 20
According to information received by Hengaw, at dawn on August 20, 2025 two prisoners were executed in Isfahan’s Dastgerd Prison: Morteza Sayvand, a 35-year-old Lor from Khorramabad, convicted of murder and imprisoned for five years, and Reza Abbasi, 40, from Najafabad, Isfahan, convicted on drug charges three years ago.
The executions of these prisoners have not been announced by Iranian state media.
