According to information obtained by Hengaw, a prisoner named Mohammadreza Cheraghi, a resident of Shahroud who had been sentenced to death for murder, was executed in Shahroud Prison at dawn on October 16, 2025.
The execution of this prisoner has not been reported by state-controlled media.
