October 11, 2025 - IRAN. Mohammadreza Akhbari executed in Yasuj on October 11.

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Yasuj Central Prison on 11 October 2025. His identity has been established as Mohammadreza Akhbari, who was sentenced to death on drug-related charges.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
