September 2, 2025 - IRAN. Mohammad Babaei executed in Sanandaj on 2 September
According to information obtained by Hengaw, at dawn on 2 September 2025, Mohammad Babaei was hanged in Sanandaj Central Prison (Sine).
Babaei, 44, a Kurdish resident of the village of Dezli in Sarvabad County, had been arrested on charges of murder.
The execution was not reported by state media.
