June 16, 2026 - IRAN. Mohammad Ahmadi executed in Sanandaj on June 16

Mohammad Ahmadi, a Kurdish man resident of Sanandaj, was executed in Sanandaj Central Prison.

According to information received by Hengaw, the execution of Mohammad Ahmadi was carried out in the early hours of June 16, 2026.

Sources told Hengaw that Mohammad Ahmadi was arrested by law enforcement forces three years ago on charges of murder.

Iranian state media have not announced the execution of Mohammad Ahmadi.
