May 12, 2025 - IRAN. Mehran Nasri Zar executed in Karaj on May 12
Mehran Nasri Zar, a 30-year-old Kurdish prisoner from Sanandaj (Sine), was secretly executed at Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
According to reports received by Hengaw, the execution took place on May 12, 2025.
Nasri Zar had been convicted of murder.
Authorities carried out the execution without informing his family or allowing a final visit.
State-affiliated media have not reported on the execution.
