IRAN: MAN HANGED IN PUBLIC

15 June 2011 :

Iran hanged in public a man convicted of raping and killing an eight-year-old girl in the southern town of Neyriz, the state television website reported.
The report did not identify the man but said he was a close relative of the girl, adding that he stole her gold before raping and murdering her.
