Iran hanged a man convicted of murder in an execution carried out in a prison in the central city of Isfahan, the Fars news agency reported. It said the man identified only as Mostafa, 26, confessed to killing the victim named only as Heydarali about two years ago because of a grudge.
The Taliban publicly flogged 13 people, including a woman, in Kabul over the past two days for adultery and drug-related offenses, the group’s supreme court announced on September 2, 2025.
