a man, identified as Babakhan V., was executed for extortion in the Central Prison of Khoram Abad, reported the public prosecutor of the city.
A Chinese court handed Zhao Weiguo, the former chairman of semiconductor firm Tsinghua Unigroup, a suspended death sentence on May 14, 2025 after he was found guilty of corruption and embezzlement, state broadcaster CCTV reported.
