April 28, 2026 - IRAN. Majid Shirzadi executed at Hamedan on April 28
Iranian authorities executed a Lor prisoner identified as Majid Shirzadi, a native of Asadabad.
According to information Hengaw received on May 27, the execution of 35-year-old Majid Shirzadi was carried out at dawn on April 28, 2026, in Hamedan Central Prison, also known as Alvand Prison.
Sources familiar with the case told Hengaw that Shirzadi had been arrested around seven years ago on murder charges . He had spent the entire period of his imprisonment in Hamedan Central Prison.
State-affiliated media have not publicly announced the execution.
