October 21, 2025 - IRAN. Mahyar Afrashteh executed in Ilam on October 21
According to information received by Hengaw, at dawn on October 21, 2025, Mahyar Afrashteh, a Kurdish prisoner convicted of murder, was executed in Ilam Central Prison.
Iranian state media have not reported the execution.
