May 25, 2025 - IRAN. Mahmoud Shirvani executed in Kahnuj on May 25

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Kahnuj Prison on 25 May 2025. His identity has been established as Mahmoud Shirvani, who was sentenced for murder.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
