December 17, 2025 - IRAN. Mahin Rashidi executed in Shiraz on December 17
On the morning of December 17, 2025, Mahin Rashidi, a 39-year-old woman from Kashan, was executed in Shiraz Central Prison. She had been detained around one year and four months earlier on charges related to drug offenses. Mahin Rashidi was denied a final family visit prior to the implementation of her execution.
As of the time of this report, the execution of Mahin Rashidi has not been officially announced by Iranian state media.
According to data recorded by the Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (Wncri), with the execution of Mahin Rashidi, the number of women executed in Iran in 2025 has reached 62.
