May 12, 2025 - IRAN. Kourosh Jalili executed in Karaj on May 12
In Ghezel Hesar Prison of Karaj, two Kurdish prisoners—Kourosh Jalili, 27, from Kermanshah, and Mehran Nasri-Zar, 30, from Sanandaj—were secretly executed on May 12 without the right to a final visit. They had been arrested three years ago in separate murder cases. The execution of Nasri-zar had already been reported.
