June 1, 2025 - IRAN. Karim Shah Mohammadi executed in Qom on June 1
On 7 June, Iran Human Rights obtained information that a second man had been executed in Qom Central Prison on 1 June. In addition to Shahriar Khalafi, whose execution was reported by Hrana and Hengaw, another man, Karim Shah Mohammadi, was also executed. Mr Mohammadi, from Tehran, was arrested four years ago on drug-related charges.
At the time of writing, neither execution had been reported by the Iranian domestic media.
