July 23, 2025 - IRAN. Jabbar Alishahi and Ashkan Mahdipanah executed in Hamedan on July 23
According to information obtained by Hengaw, at dawn on July 23, two prisoners, Jabbar Alishahi, 30, a Lor man from Khorramabad, and Ashkan Mahdipanah from Hamedan, were executed at Hamedan Central Prison. Both men had been arrested four years earlier in unrelated cases on drug-related charges.
State-run media have not released any information regarding these executions.
