August 11, 2025 - IRAN. Two men were hanged in Khorramabad Central Prison on 11 August. Their identities have been established as 36-year-old Issa Mortazavi from Aligudarz, and 30-year-old Yaser Sogan from Khorramabad. Issa was on death row for four year and Yaser, around six years, both for murder.

At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.

Previously, a different source (Hengaw) had already reported the execution of Yaser Sogan, albeit with a different spelling of his name: Yaser Sagvand.
