August 3, 2025 - IRAN. Iqbal Abdali executed in Ilam on August 3
The death sentence of Iqbal Abdali, a Kurdish prisoner from Ilam, was carried out at the city’s central prison. According to information received by Hengaw, the execution took place on August 3, 2025, in Ilam Central Prison. Sources familiar with the case reported that Abdali had been arrested three years ago on charges of murder.
The execution has not been announced by state media.
