May 1, 2025 - IRAN. Hossein Shiravand executed in Khorramabad on May 1

According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on May 1, 2025, the death sentence of a 28-year-old Lor prisoner named Hossein Shiravand, a resident of Khorramabad, was carried out at the city’s central prison.

A source close to Shiravand’s family stated that the prisoner had been arrested two years ago on charges of murder.

As of the time of this report, news of his execution has not been published by state-affiliated media.
