Iran hanged Morad Dehesh and Mehdi Nikraftar in Isfahan for their "involvement in the killing of a police officer, in addition of having other priors," the city's prosecutor Mohammad Reza Habibi said on the provincial justice department's website. The prosecutor "strongly denied" reports by opposition websites that two people were hanged in Isfahan over their involvement in political activities.
