August 4, 2025 - IRAN. Hamidreza Soroush (Hamid Soroush) executed in Nur on August 4

According to reports received by Hengaw, on August 4, 2025, Hamidreza Soroush, a prisoner from Tehran, was executed in Nur Prison, Mazandaran Province. He had been arrested five years ago for the acid attack and murder of his wife, leading to his death sentence.

None of these executions have been announced by Iranian state media or judiciary-affiliated outlets.
