September 17, 2025 - IRAN. Ghafoor Behboudi and Abdolsalam Mir Panjshir executed in Taybad on September 17
On September 17, 2025 morning, two prisoners — Ghafoor Behboudi, 37, from Kheirabad village in Taybad, and Abdolsalam Mir Panjshir, about 30, an Afghan national — were executed in Taybad Central Prison, Razavi Khorasan Province. According to Iran Human Rights, Behboudi had been in detention for four years and Mir Panjshir for two, both on drug-related charges.
As of publication, these executions have not been reported by state-run media.
