December 28, 2025 - IRAN. Bismullah Tajik executed in Bandar Abbas on December 28
According to information received by Hengaw, Bismullah Tajik, an Afghan man, was executed in Bandar Abbas Central Prison at dawn on December 28, 2025
Sources familiar with the case stated that he had been arrested on murder charges. Iranian state media have not reported this execution.
According to documented data recorded by Hengaw’s Statistics and Documentation Center, at least 85 Afghan nationals have been executed in Iranian prisons since the beginning of 2025.
