October 8, 2025 - IRAN. Behnam Niknam executed in Amol on October 8

Behnam Niknam, a Gilak man from Amol in Mazandaran Province and father of one, was executed at dawn on October 8, 2025, in Amol Central Prison. He had been sentenced to death on a murder charge following a personal altercation.

Iran’s state media have not reported the execution.
