September 7, 2025 - IRAN. Azad Moradi executed in Sanandaj on September 6

Iranian authorities have executed Kurdish prisoner Azad Moradi, 43, in Sanandaj Central Prison (Sine). He had been sentenced to death on charges of murder.

According to information obtained by Hengaw, Moradi, a resident of Qelayawa village in Baneh County, was executed at dawn on September 7, 2025.

Sources confirmed that Moradi was arrested five years ago on murder charges.

The execution has not been reported by state media.
