June 14, 2025 - IRAN. Any expression of joy at Israel's attacks will be prosecuted as a crime.

As the war between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel enters its second day, the Judiciary of Kurdistan Province has announced that any public expression of joy regarding the conflict on social media will be considered a criminal offense and subject to legal action.
According to information received by Hengaw, the judiciary has begun sending text messages to residents, warning them against what it calls “celebrating and inciting unrest” in connection with the ongoing war. The message threatens legal consequences for such behavior.
The text message stresses that producing or sharing content that “disrupts public order and tranquility” constitutes a criminal act, subject to prosecution and legal punishment. People are ordered to delete such content immediately.
In a related development, Iranian state media reported that five residents of Yazd have been arrested on charges of “disturbing public opinion” and filming locations classified as sensitive.
At the same time, the IRGC Intelligence Organization has issued a warning against what it describes as “any cultural, media, promotional, or supportive activity aimed at endorsing, reinforcing, or legitimizing” Israel.
