August 20, 2025 - IRAN. Amir Mohammad Faroughi executed in Qorveh on August 20.

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Qorveh Prison on 20 August 2025. His identity has been established as 26-year-old Amir Mohammad Faroughi, a Kurdish man from Qorveh. He was arrested six years ago for murder.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
