August 11, 2025 - IRAN. Amir Hosseinpour executed in Ilam on August 11
According to a report received by Hengaw, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner, Amir Hosseinpour, 34, from Ilam, was carried out at dawn on August 11, 2025 in Ilam Central Prison. He had been arrested four years earlier on drug-related charges.
The execution has not been reported by state media.
