May 25, 2025 - IRAN. Alireza Rezaei and Mobarak Rahmani executed in Qom on May 25
At dawn on May 25, Rezaei, 27, from Qom, and Rahmani, 25, an Afghan national, were executed at Qom Central Prison. Rahmani had been in prison for three years, and Rezaei for six years — both convicted of murder.
These executions have been publicly announced by Iranian state media.
