September 8, 2025 - IRAN. Ahmad Shamlu executed in Hamedan on September 8

Iranian authorities have executed a man identified as Ahmad Shamlu in Hamedan Central Prison. According to information obtained by Hengaw, the execution was carried out at dawn on September 8, 2025. Sources confirmed that Shamlu had been arrested on drug-related charges.

The execution has not been reported by state media.
