June 9, 2025 - IRAN. Abdolsamad Barahui executed in Iranshahr on June 9

According to information received by Hengaw, the execution of Abdolsamad Barahui, a 25-year-old Baloch, resident of Iranshahr, took place at dawn on June 9, 2025, in Iranshahr Central Prison. Barahui had been arrested three years earlier on charges of murder. He was transferred to solitary confinement the day before the execution and granted a final visit with his family.

The execution has not been officially acknowledged by Iranian state media.
