May 21, 2025 - IRAN. Abdolrahim Nazari executed in Zahedan on May 21

Abdolrahim Nazari, a Turkmen prisoner from Qareh Bolagh in Golestan Province, was secretly executed in Zahedan Central Prison.

According to information received by Hengaw, the execution was carried out in complete secrecy on May 21, 2025, without any prior notice to his family.

Nazari, a father of three, had been arrested three years earlier in Zahedan on drug-related charges. The execution has not been reported by state media outlets as of the time this report was published.
