February 1, 2026 - IRAN. Abbas Abdolmaleki executed at Ghezel Hesar on February 1
According to information Hengaw received on July 2, 40-year-old Lor prisoner Abbas Abdolmaleki, a resident of Varamin, was executed on February 1, 2026, at Ghezel Hesar Prison.
He had been arrested about four years earlier in connection with a case involving an alleged “mass murder. His relatives maintain that he was innocent of the charges.
Iranian state media have not announced the execution.
